How we got here
Codingkart started in 2013, working with early DTC brands that needed more than themes and apps could give them. One of the first subscription builds was Driftaway Coffee, an online coffee subscription store where no plugin could handle the personalized subscription flow, custom dashboard, and shipping logic they needed. That engagement is still running today, over eight years in, with more than 4,000 active subscribers.
Work like that kept arriving. ChiDog, a veterinarian-founded dog meal brand on Shopify and Recharge, needed a custom embedded app built around their five-element diet system, with a guided recommendation wizard and automatic order modification based on each dog's diet. Same underlying pattern as Driftaway, different platform, different logic, same depth of custom engineering underneath.
Thirteen years later, that's still the work. Bigger brands, more complex stacks, higher stakes, but the question every project starts with hasn't changed. What do you need your system to do that your current tools can't?
