Designation: Shopify Developer

Location: Indore 

Relevant Experience: 2 to 4 Years

Mandatory: Experience with multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level of complexity especially on E-commerce platforms. Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and alter the pre-existing template

Expertise: – Shopify theme development and customization, Shopify Liquid templating language, Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc.), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6, jQuery & Rest API’s.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and altering the pre-existing template
• Be highly experienced in building high-end eCommerce stores on several platforms with a good portfolio
• Understand the requirements from briefs, do thorough research, and based on previous experiences -propose the most suitable solution/platform with an ETA.
• Prototype solutions quickly, researching new technologies – where applicable and collaborating to implement the technical vision.
• Possess both technical & soft skills and is expected to be a mentor for entry-level developers.
• Develop websites, applications, and rich multi-media experiences according to the brief and technical specifications. Work closely with other developers to integrate the applications according to departmental standards and processes.
• Serve as an interface between engineers and clients/product managers, gathering requirements, writing technical specifications & documentation of feature sets.
• Contribute to coding, code review, merging code and functional testing, and final delivery of the product.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform
• Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
• Previous work experience of working on multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc)
• An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6 & jQuery.
• Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
• An understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines
• Know-how of debugging and testing software for cross-browser compatibility
